Johnson's Crab House

Excellent place to get live crabs. Best place in Hampton Roads tbh because they are big and cheaper than every place I have been to here. I really shouldn't be posting this cause I don't want everyone crowding the place lol. But yes. This spot is great. Highly recommend them.

Went here yesterday and this place did not disappoint!! First the customer service was excellent very friendly and welcoming!! Didn’t feel rushed to hurry up, I actually watched them interact with other customers showing them (crabs) before they ordered them you can actually see what ur getting!! I love female crabs and it’s been hard to find a good place but the female were a decent size the season was on point! This will definitely be my go to place from now on!!I

The customer service that Leslie and the family provides is amazing. They go out in the morning and come back with fresh crabs for their customers. The crabs are always good and heavy. You won’t be disappointed. Get there at least 30 minutes early because there’s a line and they’ll sell out fast. After your first visit with them, they’ll become your forever crab spot like they have become for me.♥️

As an avid blue crab devourer, our go to has been Johnson’s for a long while. I’m choosing not to gatekeep and instead recommend Johnson’s! Good people, good prices, and good crabs is why! The ENTIRE family creates a welcoming atmosphere. I promise if you give them a try it won’t be your last time going! (Just don’t buy them all before we get there😎)
